About Steel Directive: City Zero

Steel Directive: City Zero is a 2D action shooter about reclaiming a city as an armored enforcer. Across 20 distinct missions, you battle human gangs, face increasingly dangerous robots, and confront powerful bosses while working through a series of tactical objectives.

Combat is only part of the operation. You may rescue civilians, gather evidence, disable security systems, and reach extraction. Multiple weapons, grenades, shields, cover, scanning, and dodging give you several ways to handle danger. Mobile players can use the on-screen buttons.

How to Play Steel Directive: City Zero

Move with A and D or the Left and Right arrows, jump with Space, and shoot with the mouse or J.

Use S to kneel, E to interact or take a weapon, and V to scan the area.

Press Q to switch weapons, R to reload, G to throw a grenade, F to activate the shield, and Shift to dodge.

Press P to pause; mobile players use the on-screen controls.

Tips & Tricks

1Use cover and kneeling when a direct approach leaves you exposed to enemies.
2Scan with V when you need information, then interact with relevant objects using E.
3Keep a shield, dodge, or grenade available for encounters with tougher robots and bosses.
